After the dismal run of some of his films at the box office, Kalabhavan Mani has been focusing on supporting roles and villain roles, for quite some time. But now, Mani seems to have made up his mind to restart working as the hero with a renewed vigor.

Last week, he signed for a new flick 'Kliyuga Raman' as the sole hero. And this week it is his new movie titled ‘Malayalee’, that got announced. The movie will have Mani as Nandhilethu Madhavan, an Innocent villager.

‘Malayalee’ will be directed by debutant V S Sudhesh who will also pen the story. The movie produced by Real cinema will be scripted by J Pallassery.

'Malayalee' will shortly start its shoot at Vadakkancherry and Palakkad.
